AOC Technical Services Division delivers ‘best-in-class’ technical advice and innovative solutions to AOC organizations, Saudi Aramco operations and project teams in AOC’s geographical area. AOC TSD is divided into four key operating Units - Inspection, Engineering, Research and Technology, and Information & Communications Technology – which operate from our headquarters in Leiden and offices in Tokyo Division and Italy.
AOC Inspection Unit ensures that all purchased commodities supplied to Saudi Arabia from AOC territory are shipped in compliance with Saudi Aramco technical requirements. Through our specialist in-house expertise, ably supported by a network of contracted leading agencies, we drive comprehensive source inspection and quality monitoring programs. In addition, quality assurance is guaranteed through periodical assessments of Saudi Aramco approved manufacturers and quality surveys of new manufacturers.
AOC Engineering Unit delivers to its various clients professional engineering support. This is a combination of consultancy support from AOC engineering staff and/or through our many approved engineering services contractors. AOC Engineering Unit performs on request technical reviews and plant assessments for AOC and our affiliates through the review of drawings and specifications, technical surveys and major equipment reviews. AOC Engineering also develops technical services agreements between AOC and external engineering companies.
AOC Research & Technology Coordination acts as the business intelligence catalyst between Saudi Aramco and the scientific and technological community in the AOC area of operations. Developing relationships with major research bodies and centers of excellence, AOC R&T identifies, facilitates and participates in innovative collaborative R&T programs in search of technological solutions to complex operational and strategic challenges.
Information and Communications Technology Unit works closely with Saudi Aramco IT to provide computer and communications services to AOC, Saudi Aramco and Project Teams in the AOC area of Operation. Our goal is the protection of all information technology assets in order to guarantee continuous availability of ICT resources to Operations.
