Working for AOC
A world of different people and skills
AOC employs over 250 people, emanating from 40 different countries, to deliver support services to the world’s biggest energy company, our parent company, Saudi Aramco. Because of our work, Saudi Aramco is able to supply energy to the world and effectively look after its 54,000 employees in 66 countries.

Working in the energy sector
Today, there are few industries as challenging as the energy sector, that are so fundamental in modern day society and so important in the minds of governments and the public alike. We are the industry that literally keeps the world moving and one with a major responsibility to consider how we continue to do what we do without destroying the natural resources we all rely upon.
Working at AOC means managing projects and business transactions across international borders that make Saudi Aramco an efficient and effective energy company. It’s our responsibility to constantly review the different and improved ways of dealing with our suppliers and partners, to help achieve our overall business aspirations and goals.
Truly international
With employees emanating from 40 countries, AOC is a truly international business and one that thrives on the diversity of its workforce. Our day-to-day business language is English but we actively encourage our employees to add to their skills by learning about the different cultures of their colleagues and increasing their language skills. As a business we have offered our employees Arabic and Dutch language and cultural classes and have continued to encourage employees working in different locations to broaden their experience within the business.
A range of roles
We nurture the careers of our employees in a range of different roles, recruiting into positions as diverse as Buyer, within the Purchasing, Logistics and Contracting division, and Technical Engineer, within the Quality Management Division. If you dropped into one of our offices on any day, you would witness people employing negotiating skills while others analyse inspection data.
Broad horizons
AOC understands the benefits of having a workforce that is stimulated and rewarded in the work that it does and we facilitate as much learning and training as possible, through e-learning, exchange programmes, classroom scenarios and also conferences. Division heads and supervisors work with AOC’s training coordinator to establish the training needs for the business and each individual, and training is then built into Performance Management Plans for each individual.
We also encourage our employees to participate in our volunteer activities, built around the company’s central values of education, health and protecting the environment. Volunteer activity involves our employees getting involved in the local communities they work in, helping those less fortunate, sharing expertise, supporting fundraising and raising the profile of health, education and environmental issues that local communities and the world at large face.
The place to be
We’re an organization that is growing, in line with the growth of our parent company, Saudi Aramco. In particular, our offices in the Asia-Pacific region are expected to expand, providing exciting opportunities for both existing and new employees to AOC. As part of the largest oil company in the world, you can expect a career that gets you involved in many significant projects and numerous locations. We have an employee who has been with us for 40 years who can testify to this!
