AOC signs feasibility study agreement with University of Tokyo

TOKYO, Japan – Aramco Overseas Company B.V. (AOC) Tokyo Chief Representative Ahmed Al-Zahrani on March 15 signed a feasibility study agreement with the University of Tokyo (UT) to explore new research collaboration opportunities of mutual interest. Dr. Kazuro Kageyama, director of Corporate Relations signed the agreement as the university counterpart.
“AOC’s research and development challenging targets cannot be fulfilled without the collaboration with world-class research institutions such as UT and this agreement marks a major milestone in this strategic relationship,” said Al-Zahrani.
“The agreement will establish networks with laboratories and researchers to find appropriate partners to develop potential research collaborations for AOC and Saudi Aramco’s future business needs,” said Dr. Saad Alkhateib, AOC Tokyo Research and Technology Representative and the mastermind of this agreement.
Dr. Kageyama expressed his happiness to conclude the agreement and promised to assign their best talent and expertise on this study.
UT is a leading research university which offers courses in essentially all academic disciplines at both undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research across the full spectrum of academic activity.
