After three years at AOC, and the force behind many great achievements within the Company, Alzayyat is venturing out to a new challenge as President of Aramco Services Company in Houston.
When Alzayyat arrived at AOC in 2008 he had an ambitious target: ‘To put AOC on the map and for AOC to be truly recognized as the face of Saudi Aramco in Europe, Asia and the Far East’, aligning with AOC’s mission ‘to provide optimal global services to Saudi Aramco’. In his quest to achieve this goal Alzayyat managed many complex and challenging projects, which led to changes that both AOC and Saudi Aramco will benefit from for a long time to come.
Alzayyat had been clear about his farewell: no speech, no gift. Which were the exact two things he got when all the guests, amongst which were AOC, The Hague employees; the Saudi Ambassador to The Netherlands; the Kuwaiti Ambassador; delegates from the Qatar and the Oman Embassies; catering service Hutten and cleaning service CS 2001, who gathered in the beautiful ‘Mesdag’ rooms of the hotel. Martin Wingrove was the first to share his warm words of memory and farewell, followed by a speech from Alzayyat, in which he thanked all AOC employees and welcomed new Managing Director Mr. Nabil Al-Dabal. The new MD was quite gracious in his own speech, equally thankful of Alzayyat’s efforts and wishing him the best in his future.

“I’m planning to see all of you again,” concluded Alzayyat in his speech, which expressed exactly what all the guests were hoping for. Alzayyat was an inspiring and true leader to everybody at AOC and will be greatly missed, but forever felt in the heart and soul of the Company.
