Tree planting for Earth Day
AOC invited students from the Forest Row Home Schooling Network to participate in a tree planting activity in support of Earth Day, intended to inspire awareness and appreciation of the earth’s environment amongst students as well as AOC employees.

Our parent company, Saudi Aramco, is committed to protecting the world’s natural resources. Therefore an awareness day around environmental issues was a great opportunity for AOC to demonstrate its own commitment to protecting the environment at a local level. It also enabled us to fulfill a commitment to provide knowledge and understanding about environmental issues to young people.
Students from Forest Row do not have as many opportunities to participate in such events as those attending public and private schools, making it a big event for the 16 volunteers involved. They planted 40 trees in Ashdown Forest, a great achievement for everyone involved.
