Our quality management processes ensure each supplier provides high-quality standards, exceptional levels of service, competitive pricing, solid delivery performance, effective after-sales support and efficient supply chain management programs.
Suppliers who perform
Supply chain management is a key success factor for AOC and Saudi Aramco. Our goal is to improve on-time deliveries so that all suppliers consistently achieve 95 per cent on-time performance. With additional training, system enhancements and improved communication, AOC is confident this goal can be achieved.
How we define best-in-class suppliers
An AOC best-in-class supplier does the following:
- Achieves 95 per cent on-time delivery performance.
- Delivers in accordance with purchase order specification (including packing and documentation).
- Responds in time to requests (e.g., RFQs, order acknowledgements, status updates, technical support, etc.).
- Is cost competitive.
- Has the ability and flexibility to act on ad hoc requests for low and high value requirements.
- Is continually improving its product and manufacturing process.
- Is willing to host Saudi Aramco interns.
- Is environmentally and socially responsible (ISO 14000 accreditation).
- Complies with manufacturer’s national health, environment and safety regulations.

Aramco Overseas Company BV is committed to the highest ethical and legal standards in the conduct of its business. AOC requires all registered vendors, manufacturers, contractors and sub-contractors with which AOC conducts business to acknowledge and agree to abide by the policies and principles set forth in the Aramco Overseas Company Supplier Code of Conduct.
