AOC Tokyo is the Asia Pacific hub for the provision of services and materials to Saudi Aramco. We handle materials procurement, deliver logistics services, carry out quality assurance activities and provide IT support and research & technology coordination.

These are the different responsibilities we fulfill in the following regions:

• Asia Pacific
  Purchasing and logistics, inspection, IT support, and research and technology coordination
• Japan, Korea, New Zealand and Australia
  Strategic sourcing
• Japan
  Student care and HR support

All of our employees at AOC Tokyo speak fluent English and most also speak Japanese. Within our team we have inspection engineers, buyers, research and technology consultants, IT specialists, academic advisors, strategic sourcing specialists and logistics coordinators.

In 2009, this team placed purchase orders with manufacturers in the Asia Pacific, for equipment and spare parts needed for Saudi Aramco projects. We also achieved the following: completed 113 plant evaluations, approved 47 new sources for materials, delivered IT network connections (for four new offices and three office relocations, which took place in Korea, Japan and Indonesia), and enabled 31 employees and their 53 dependants to relocate with the right visas, logistics and housing support.
