AOC Shanghai identifies Chinese suppliers of critical materials and services for qualification by our company. Registration generally requires technical and quality prequalification processes.
In China, many suppliers and service providers are keen to be registered with our company and, consequently, the number of requests for approval is significant. In one year, 2009, we approved more than 150 suppliers.
Our team is made up of procurement sourcing and commodity specialists, inspection engineers and auditors, supplier support managers and finance specialists. Our staff is fluent in English and Chinese.

An inside story
World Expo provides a forum for development of international relationships and promotion of the world’s economy, culture and technology. This year the event is being held in Shanghai, China and AOC’s Shanghai office supported Saudi Aramco’s Public Relations Department with the inauguration of the Saudi Arabia pavilion at the Expo. The Saudi Arabia ‘Moon Boat’ pavilion, featuring date palms on the top deck of a boat creating a hanging garden, was the largest after the Chinese pavilion and a crowd favourite among the visitors.
